What we collect

When you use OpenCase Vintage we collect:

Email address — when you sign in or create an account.
Search queries — the part descriptions you enter, so we can save searches and send alerts.
Alert preferences — frequency and notification settings you configure.
Session tokens — stored as a cookie to keep you signed in.
Usage logs — server-side logs including request paths, timestamps, and response times for debugging and operations. These do not contain personal content.

How we use it

To provide and improve the search service.
To deliver magic link sign-in emails and alert notifications.
To associate saved searches and alerts with your account.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is transmitted to Resend when we send you emails.
Neon — managed PostgreSQL database hosting. Your account data and searches are stored here.
Render — application hosting. Server logs are stored here.
OpenAI — your search queries are sent to OpenAI's API for normalisation and listing evaluation. Queries are not used to train OpenAI models under our API agreement.

Data retention

We retain your account and search data for as long as your account is active. Guest session data expires after 12 hours. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and data.
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
