What is OpenCase Vintage?
An AI-powered search tool that finds vintage and modern watch parts across multiple marketplaces simultaneously — eBay, AliExpress, specialist suppliers like Cousins UK and Esslinger, and more.
Which marketplaces are searched?
Currently: eBay, AliExpress, Esslinger, Cousins UK, and Jewelers Supplies. We're continually adding more sources.
How does the AI matching work?
Your query is normalised into a structured part specification (brand, movement, part type, dimensions). A second AI agent then evaluates each listing against that specification and scores it for relevance and compatibility.
What are compatible movement results?
Many movements share identical or dimensionally compatible parts. When you search for an ETA 2824 mainspring, for example, we also surface compatible results for movements in the same family — clearly labelled so you know the relationship.
How do alerts work?
Save any search and set a daily or weekly alert. OpenCase Vintage checks for new listings on your schedule and sends you an email with matches. You can manage or delete alerts from the Alerts page.
Is it free?
Yes — completely free while we're in beta. We'll give advance notice before any pricing changes are introduced.
Do I need an account?
You can search without an account. Saving searches and setting alerts requires signing in — we use a magic link sent to your email, no password needed.
Is there a mobile app?
A mobile app for iOS and Android is in development. Sign up to be notified when it launches.
